No. 1 Cross River Rail
(Over AUD $5 billion)
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, which includes 5.9 kilometres of twin tunnels under the Brisbane River and CBD. By unlocking a bottleneck at the core of our transport network and transforming the way we travel across the whole of Southeast Queensland, this railway alleviates current urban transportation congestion and boosts the local industrial economy. Hence, this project certainly represents one of Queensland's most valued and prioritised infrastructure construction.
No. 2 Queen’s Wharf
(AUD $3.6 billion)
Queen’s Wharf is a large-scale international resort developed by The Star Entertainment Group, Chow Tai Fook (Chow Tai Fook Enterprise Co., Ltd.) and Far East Consortium (Far East Development Co., Ltd.). Set to open in the first half of 2023, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will transform the CBD and river’s edge with an iconic design that embraces Brisbane’s inviting subtropical climate and celebrates the precinct’s Indigenous and European heritage with interpretive trails and experiences spanning the Brisbane River and ridgeline. The Queen's Wharf Brisbane area includes amenities that connects parts of the city, e.g. the Botanic Gardens, the Queen Street Mall, the Cultural Precinct, South Bank, the Parliamentary Precinct and the Brisbane River. It is expected to bring nearly 10,000 jobs to Brisbane and nearly 1.7 billion in tourism consumption.
No. 3 Brisbane Live Precinct

Brisbane Live Precinct is launched by one of the world’s largest entertainment companies, AEG-Ogden. This project was inspired by the Brisbane’s Madison Square. Located at a key CBD transit hub, a new 18,000 seat entertainment arena complex will soon be constructed serviced by underground rail and busway infrastructure. Brisbane Live will be the city’s new home of entertainment in the CBD, located at Roma Street.
No. 4 Brisbane Metro Rapid Transit System

In recent years, the population of Brisbane has grown rapidly. To alleviate traffic congestion, Brisbane Metro is created to be a future high-frequency bus rapid transit system servicing Brisbane, Australia. It will consist of two routes that will each service the Brisbane central business district every three minutes during peak times, transporting up to 3,000 passengers per hour in each direction. This subway station allows people to use the public transportation and connect to Cross River Rail more conveniently.
No. 5 Brisbane Airport’s Parallel Runway

Until year 2035, the new runway of the airport is expected that the new runway will bring annual income of 5 billion Australian dollars to the regional economy. Brisbane Airport has more than 3,300 inbound and outbound flights per week, with an annual passenger throughput of more than 19.7 million passengers, with 44 domestic routes and 31 international routes. At present, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines have all opened important routes to Brisbane.
No. 6 Millennium Square

Bowen Hills, who used to be Cinderella, is about to turn the sparrow into a phoenix. The new commercial centre is in Bowen Hills. The headquarters of the media bosses will be located: The Courier Mail, The Sunday Mail, The Australian, Quest, News Regional Media and Sky News, which are full of cultural atmosphere and point out the strength of the future intellectual gathering in this place.
No. 7 Brisbane Quarter (300 George St)

Brisbane’s first W Hotel, the upcoming landmark address, includes a 39-storey office building, an 82-storey luxury apartment, and a 7-storey underground garage.
No. 8 Howard Smith Wharves Development
(A$100 million)
The purpose of this redevelopment plan is to build a riverside green space and commercial construction. The riverside city has always been a very important life style in Brisbane. The highlight of this style makes it still hope to be emphasized and preserved when developing. I hope that Brisbane is a city with blue sky and green land, but also an international modern city.
